(2-4) Adding and Subtracting Decimals.



               To add or subtract decimal numbers.


                    Align numbers vertically by place value carefully lining up the


                    decimal points.


                    Put zeros in the empty digits.


                    Add the numbers starting from the right.


                    Drag the decimal point straight down.




              Example:
               Example 1 :

                           14+3.87+4.762=                    14.000       (14= 14.0= 14.000)
