(2-5) Understanding Factors and Multiples.





                       Factors are numbers that you can multiply

                       to get a product. We can visually represent
                       them in a diagram called a Factor Tree.


             Example:


                         45                              The factors of 45 are:

                                                                   5×3×3

                                                             If you multiply
                     5          9
                                                                      you get 45.
                                                            5×3×3
