An independent international non-governmental organization, unaffiliated with any political, partisan, or sectarian regimes or groups. Since its establishment in 2000, at the initiative of His Royal Highness Prince Khalid Al-Faisal and with the support of a distinguished group of intellectuals, business leaders, and entrepreneurs who believed in its mission of enlightenment, development, and progress, and its commitment to responsible freedom, the organization has been dedicated to promoting the Arabic language and culture, advocating for Arab solidarity and a unifying Arab identity that embraces the richness of diversity and pluralism, and upholding the values of dialogue and openness to the world's languages and cultures.
Through its pioneering initiatives, programs, and projects, its published reports, books, and translations, its conferences, forums, and seminars, and its awards, the organization has strived to disseminate knowledge, stimulate creativity and innovation, develop infrastructure and mindsets, empower youth, and achieve the goals of comprehensive and sustainable development.
As part of its contribution to intellectual, cultural and educational efforts, the Foundation has adopted an approach of partnership, cooperation and integration with relevant organizations, institutions and research and studies centers.
